DIY: Magazine Cut Out Poster

It’s DIY time! This is a simple DIY that only take about 20-30 minutes.

What you need:
Canvas
Magazines
2″ plastic stencil in Helvetica (I got mine from Blick)
Mod Podge
Paint brush
Scissors
I forgot the white paint, you’ll also need that!

Step 2
Cut out various things from magazines. It’s important to pay attention to all of the details on each page. Some of the best finds are the details in the background.

Layout the main features you want to highlight.

Step 4
Place the patterned pieces and background images under your images.

Step 5
Remove the main pieces and add a layer of Mod Podge onto the back of the smaller patterned cut outs.

Step 6
After all of your cut outs are laid out cover in a layer of Mod Podge. This will dry clear so do not be worried.

Once the Mod Podge has dried, use your stencil to paint whatever quote you choose.
I like to make sure each letter is mostly dry before moving on to the next one.
